okay okay so i finally did it! My mom has been wanting me to take pictures of my new apartment so she could see what it looked like. I did one step better. My chidlren take you on a magical tour through our little abode. There are also a couple pictures of cocoa rice krispie treat haunted houses we made today. They are pretty yummy. enjoy!

Well by now I am sure most of you have heard but if you haven't let me share before you hear from anyone else. My husband Don and I are getting a divorce and I have resigned from my position as a Salvation army officer. Yes I can see that some of you just dropped your jaw. This is a surprise to alot of people but there have just been alot of issues going on through the years that have led up to this point. Yes, we are still on speaking terms. and we are working together for the kids and making sure that they are seeing anything different as we go through this.

I thank those of you who have been praying for us during this whole situation. I have a long road still ahead of me but I just try to look at the day i am in and no further, otherwise I just get overwhelmed.

We will both be staying in the area and I am hopefully moving into an apartment and starting a new job soon. I will keep you updated. Don's plans are to hopefully keep his officership after the divorce is final.

Ah yes, the rumors.....I think I might start a little list of rumors....this is what I have so far...if you hear anymore let me know.

1. I was caught kissing someone in the church building...thats why I had to resign! (yeah right)

2. I am leaving don to move in with someone (whatever!)

3. I am running away and abandoning my children (Wow! where does this stuff come from?)

4. Here is the latest....I am addicted to percocet and am in rehab!!!

Well I am going to head out...i think I gave you all enough shock for now!!!

so if you read the last blog you will have heard about my son being on medication and it making him extremely hyper. Well, we noticed this weekend at camp that not only did it make him hyper but it would make him cry for no reason too. He spilled my soda by accident and he just started crying.....there were two extremes...it was intense. This morning he was just crabby. Thank goodness he only has one more dose left tonight at dinner.

I had to say goodbye to the dog i was watching. Yes i cried...i feel like my sisters. this might sound silly but i feel like i betrayed him. He was finally getting comfortable with the fact that he was with our family and now he has to go somewhere else. Maybe i should explain a little..... we were watching him because his owner took off and left him and he had nowhere to go....so we had him till there was someone to take him in. I wish we had time for a dog but we don't. I just feel really bad. He was like my shadow. Every step i took he was right there behind me. We would take walks during the day and lay down in the grass at the park. ohhh i miss him....bye bones! I hope he is treated well.

Well i suppose maybe i should get going on my work for CBLI since we are leaving on thursday...yikes!
